I’m an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at York University in Toronto.

I specialize in ethics and philosophy of biology, with particular interests in neo-Aristotelian ethics, natural teleology, and ethics of artificial intelligence.

I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Toronto in 2019. I have an MA in philosophy and an MS in science and technology studies from Virginia Tech, as well as an MS in artificial intelligence from Sharif University of Technology.
